Happenstance
Happenstance first appeared without a name, then played under the joke name the 'Easy Listening Collective' before settling to 'happenstance'. The name is not meant to convey the Cage notion of chance so much as a fortuitous coming together.

The group have performed
together on several occasions, including at Ray's Jazz,
Shoreditch Church, the Luna Lounge & Arch1, the latter with Terry Day deputising on drums. The sound clips, repelete with the church's natural reverberation, below
were recorded at their first
outing at Shoreditch Church in November 2011..
